Audio Recording & Production Essentials
Home Studio Recording and Production for Independent Musicians
Course Overview
In this course, I’ll walk you through how I record and produce professional-quality music from home using the same workflow I’ve developed over more than a decade as an independent musician.
You’ll learn how to set up your recording space, choose gear that fits your goals and budget, and capture clean, beautiful sound whether you’re recording violin, vocals, guitar or any instrument you love. I’ll also share my full editing, mixing and mastering process. And while I use Logic Pro X, the methods I share apply in any DAW.
We’ll also complete a start-to-finish production walkthrough of one of my cover songs so you can see how I arrange, layer, edit, and mix everything until it’s release-ready.
